JEPBN Admit Card Download process
The JEPBN admit card will be released in
the middle of May in online mode. Only registered candidates will be eligible
to download the admit card by logging in through their registered credentials.
The JEPBN admit card is a mandatory document that has to be carried to the exam
center. The admit card or hall ticket of the JEPBN exam will carry information
such as candidates’ personal details, exam date and time, exam center address,
and exam day guidelines.
JEPBN Application Form
The application form of JEPBN was released
in an online mode in February month. The JEPBN application process was
completely online. The first step was to register with the personal and contact
details, which led to the generation of login credentials including the
username and password. Candidates had to log in to fill out the complete
application form by entering details such as academic details and
qualifications, contact details, present employment details, uploading of
photograph and signature, and payment of the application fee. The application
fee is INR 3,000 which could be paid online through credit/debit card and net
banking.
JEPBN Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of
JEPBN are given below:

Candidates must have passed the
Class 12 exam from a recognized Board and GNM course and obtained the
registration / RNRM certificate from any State Nursing Council of any state of
India.
·
The upper age limit for those
employed by the West Bengal State Govt. is 53 years (as on the last date of
application). There is no upper age limit for candidates who are ESI/Central
Government employees.
·
Candidates who are presently
employed by the West Bengal State Govt. should have at least 3 years of qualifying
uninterrupted / regularized experience in Govt. service by the last date of
application.
· Candidates must be a citizen of India.
JEPBN Test Centres
The exam will be conducted in one city, Kolkata, in the Salt Lake and New Town zones. The JEPBN exam center will be notified to candidates on their admit card. Once the admit card is issued, they will not be able to request the change. They will have to reach the stipulated center for JEPBN at least an hour before the exam and would be allowed to leave only after the exam duration is over.

JEPBN Exam Pattern
The JEPBN exam pattern states that it is an
offline test of 90 minutes duration, to be conducted from 11 am to 12.30 pm.
The total number of questions is 100. The questions will be in MCQ format
wherein each question will carry four answer options. Candidates will have to
select the correct option by shading the circle next to the correct answer with
an HB pencil. The section-wise break up of questions is given in the table
below:

Marking Scheme:
Each correct answer will fetch one mark
§ Each incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of 0.25 marks
§ Marking more than one answer option, even if one of them is correct,
will be considered a wrong answer and would lead to negative marking.

No
answer will be deducted for non-attempt of questions.
JEPBN Answer Keys
JEPBN answer keys will be released by the
exam authorities within a few days of the exam on the exam’s website.
Candidates can check and calculate their estimated scores. In case they find
any discrepancy, they can submit objections by paying a fee of INR 500 per
question. The Board will review and publish the final and frozen answer keys.
JEPBN Result
The date of declaring the JEPBN result has
not been announced yet. It is expected that the result will be declared between
the last week of May and the first week of June on the exam website. The result
will be declared in the form of a scorecard. The JEPBN result will carry
information such as candidates’ section-wise and overall scores and ranks.
Based on the scores, the participating institutes will shortlist candidates for
the counseling and admission rounds. WBJEEB will also release the JEPBN merit
list on the basis of the General Merit Rank. A merit list for reserved category
candidates will also be released.
JEPBN Cut-off
The exam authorities will decide and
release the JEPBN cut-off ranks and scores at the time of the result. Based on
the JEPBN Cut-off, candidates’ qualification status will be determined. The cut-off
for JEPBN will depend on the factors such as the number of test-takers, number
of seats, and difficulty level of the exam, to name a few.
JEPBN Counselling
The qualifying candidates will have to
participate in the JEPBN 2023 counseling process which will be conducted by
WBJEEB. During the counseling rounds, candidates will have to get their
documents verified by the institutes. The documents include admit cards, scorecards,
past academic mark sheets, certificates, employment certificates, and category certificates
(if applicable), to name a few.
