The NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) has started the private Madhyamik admission for the April session 2024, Class 10 and Class 12. If you are eligible, you can register for Madhyamik and H.S course in Kolkata. You can register late for an extra Rs250 fee from August 1st to August 31st. After that, you can register online from September 1st to September 30th Rs400 late fee.

If you're an ordinary student, you can start by preparing yourself for the class 10th exam with NIOS study materials. The NIOS board is known to produce good results in all subjects. Its class 10th examination is designed for students who failed their previous boards. The eligibility criteria for stream private Madhyamik are a birth certificate, Aadhar card, Scan copy, and 3 passport-size photos. A valid certificate from the 8th class is required. However, a self-certificate is acceptable.

To apply for NIOS admission in Kolkata for the class 10 and class 12 exams, you need to have an NCERT book. The syllabus of this book is very easy to understand for the average student. You can also visit discussion forums to get more NIOS study material. The exam pattern for the NIOS board is very similar to the exams conducted by the other boards.
