 For the ANM GNM nursing admission in West Bengal, you must qualify for the WBJEE exam. This is an ANM GNM nursing course that aims to qualify students for registration to the West Bengal State Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. However, if you have a certificate from a state nursing council that does recognize you ANM 2 years and GNM 3 Years degree. You must be a permanent resident of West Bengal for at least five years.

ANM GNM joint entrance examination was started in 2021. Its main goal is to prepare the students on a proper merit basis for admission to the ANM GNM course. Applicants must have a 10+2 in any stream with 40% marks.
